“Theater of the LIK movement” was established in 1982, since 2003 it has been working as an integrated team that unites young people with disabilities and their healthy peers.

The theater’s performances and classes cover about 40 people, more than 20 of them – children and young people with physical and mental disabilities.

The mission of the theater is to create equal access to art for all people of different abilities.

Each performance of the theater is created on the basis of an innovative system – dance improvisation – which the theater has developed over many years of creative research.

All performances of the Theater of the Lik Movement are different in content, but their goal is the same – to show the value and uniqueness of the soul of each person, regardless of his social status and state of health.

Winner of international festivals in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kiev, participant in a socio-cultural project in France (“Residence of Uzbek artists in Le Rozier sur Loire”), winner of the Ilhom Theater Award in the nomination “For Honor and Dignity in Art”.
