Fresh Wind Theater

Stolin, Belorus

The Fresh Wind Theater was established in 2008 on the initiative of the Stolin District Center for Correctional and Developmental Training and Rehabilitation, the Stolin Territorial Center for Social Services, and the Center for Support of Young People with Disabilities.

In 2008 the theater took part in the IV International Festival of Special Theaters “Neprataptany Shlyakh” in Brest, which was the beginning of creative recognition of the theater.

During its existence, the theater took part in the International Festival of Special Theaters “Neprataptany Shlyakh” in Brest, Lublin (Poland), became a regular participant of the international theater project “Open-air Theater” in Stolin, took part in the third All-Ukrainian festival “Anxiety Heart “, International Festival” Valley of Daffodils “(Ukraine),” Oriental Tale “(Azerbaijan),” Step Towards “(Belarus),” Lilac Swallow “(Belarus),” Begases “(Lithuania),” Art for All “( Latvia), “Wings” (Ukraine), “Theatrical Labyrinth” (Germany), “Life of Infinite Possibilities” (Moscow).

Theater directors have been trained on international projects for directors of special theaters in Belarus, Ukraine and Germany.

The composition of the theater participants is constant. It included students from the CCROiR classes and young people with disabilities who attend day care centers, as well as volunteers from the city’s schools.
